Su importancia radica en que el Estado reconozca que se cometieron graves violaciones a los derechos humanos durante la <em>guerra sucia<\/em>\u201d, afirm\u00f3 David Fern\u00e1ndez, ex director del Centro de Derechos Humanos Miguel Agust\u00edn Pro e integrante de la comisi\u00f3n. <q>Si se hubieran esclarecido estos hechos criminales hoy tendr\u00edamos unas fuerzas armadas distintas a las que han enfrentado el tr\u00e1fico de drogas, con menos excesos<\/q>.<\/p>\n<p>Es una tarea contra reloj, <q>el tiempo es un factor important\u00edsimo porque las v\u00edctimas, los perpetradores se est\u00e1n muriendo. Arturo Acosta Chaparro, el criminal, fue asesinado. S\u00ed, el tiempo apremia porque el encargo de la comisi\u00f3n son dos a\u00f1os y medio.
