Roxana Berenice Guzm\u00e1n Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>, directora y propietaria del medio Pulso Informativo del Sureste<\/em><\/strong> en Nanchital, Veracruz<\/strong>, fue asesinada despu\u00e9s de ser privada de su libertad el 2 de junio de 2026<\/strong> por un grupo armado<\/strong> que irrumpi\u00f3<\/strong> en su domicilio<\/strong>. La Fiscal\u00eda General del Estado de Veracruz<\/strong> confirm\u00f3 la identificaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica de sus restos y ejecut\u00f3<\/strong> ocho \u00f3rdenes de aprehensi\u00f3n<\/strong> contra presuntos responsables<\/strong>, entre ellos cuatro polic\u00edas municipales<\/strong> de Ixhuatl\u00e1n<\/strong> del Sureste que, seg\u00fan la investigaci\u00f3n, proporcionaban recursos y apoyo log\u00edstico al grupo delictivo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 19 M\u00e9xico y Centroam\u00e9rica<\/strong><\/em> expres\u00f3 su solidaridad con la familia de Roxana y la comunidad period\u00edstica, y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que su asesinato constituye un grave ataque contra la libertad de expresi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Llam\u00f3 a la Fiscal\u00eda General de la Rep\u00fablica<\/strong> y a la Fiscal\u00eda de Veracruz<\/strong> a garantizar<\/strong> una investigaci\u00f3n pronta<\/strong>, exhaustiva<\/strong> e imparcial<\/strong> que identifique y sancione tanto a los responsables materiales como intelectuales<\/strong>, y recuerda a las autoridades la importancia de abstenerse de promover narrativas que estigmaticen a Roxana <\/strong>o desv\u00eden las investigaciones.<\/p>\n

Con Roxana son 34 los periodistas asesinados en Veracruz desde el a\u00f1o 2000<\/strong>, los tres \u00faltimos<\/strong> asesinatos de periodistas registrados en 2026 ocurrieron en esa entidad<\/strong>, al igual que el \u00faltimo caso de desaparici\u00f3n de periodista en el pa\u00eds<\/strong>. De los 12 asesinatos de mujeres periodistas<\/strong> en todo M\u00e9xico, 5 son en Veracruz<\/strong>. ARTICLE 19<\/em> reiter\u00f3 su exigencia de justicia y verdad<\/strong> por Roxana y por los 178 periodistas asesinados en el pa\u00eds desde el a\u00f1o 2000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
