En el marco del D\u00eda Internacional de las Defensoras, la Oficina en M\u00e9xico del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas<\/strong> para los Derechos Humanos (ONU-DH)<\/strong> y la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Naci\u00f3n (SCJN)<\/strong> lanzaron la campa\u00f1a \u201cMujeres ind\u00edgenas que cuidan y defienden<\/strong>\u201d, una iniciativa que re\u00fane las voces de mujeres ind\u00edgenas de distintas regiones del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

La iniciativa reconoce el legado de mujeres ind\u00edgenas y afrodescendientes<\/strong> \u2014adultas mayores, adultas, j\u00f3venes, adolescentes y ni\u00f1as\u2014 que protegen sus derechos y los de sus comunidades y pueblos. Son mujeres guardianas de la vida: preservan la naturaleza, resguardan la biodiversidad y mantienen vivo el patrimonio biocultural.<\/p>\n

Comenz\u00f3 a difundirse el 29 de noviembre y continuar\u00e1 al 10 de diciembre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
