El pasado 7 de febrero el Instituto Federal de la Defensor\u00eda P\u00fablica (IFDP)<\/strong> inform\u00f3 que una mujer privada de su libertad falleci\u00f3<\/strong> en el Centro Federal de Readaptaci\u00f3n Social (Cefereso<\/strong>) 16<\/strong>. Con \u00e9ste se suman 20 casos desde 2021.<\/p>\n

Frente al nuevo fallecimiento, el IFDP exigi\u00f3 medidas integrales<\/strong> para evitar m\u00e1s muertes en centro de readaptaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Al respecto, la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos<\/strong>, lament\u00f3 el hecho y aclar\u00f3 que, s<\/span>eg\u00fan est\u00e1ndares de <\/span>Derechos Humanos<\/span>, se presume que los Estados son responsables de las muertes en custodia<\/strong>. Es preciso realizar una investigaci\u00f3n efectiva y adoptar medidas de prevenci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n ofreci\u00f3 asistencia t\u00e9cnica<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
