A pesar de que hace un a\u00f1o finaliz\u00f3 la aplicaci\u00f3n del T\u00edtulo 42, pol\u00edtica que restring\u00eda el derecho b\u00e1sico a solicitar asilo en la frontera entre los Estados Unidos y M\u00e9xico durante 38 meses, el acceso pleno al derecho al asilo en Estados Unidos sigue siendo una promesa incumplida, denunci\u00f3 la Red Jesuita a Migrantes.<\/p>\n

Esto se refleja en que las fronteras en toda la regi\u00f3n permanecen cerradas y las personas migrantes contin\u00faan expuestas a mayores riesgos y vulnerabilidades, mientras tanto son las organizaciones humanitarias y de sociedad civil quienes asumen la responsabilidad de atenderles.<\/p>\n

Ante este contexto, desde la Red Jesuita con Migrantes sigue abogando por medidas y pol\u00edticas migratorias que prioricen la migraci\u00f3n informada, acompa\u00f1ada y protegida.<\/p>\n
