Este 23 y 24 de febrero se llev\u00f3 a cabo la Cumbre por la Paz, <\/strong>una iniciativa organizada por Global Exchange<\/strong><\/a> para convocar a las organizaciones d ella sociedad civil, defensores de derechos humanos y a la ciudadan\u00eda en general en M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos para dialogar sobre los impactos de la violencia<\/strong>, generar estrategias y tomar acciones conjuntas para combatir sus causas.<\/p>\n

Distintas organizaciones participaron para discutir sobre el tr\u00e1fico de armas<\/strong>, los riesgos de la militarizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, violaciones a derechos humanos<\/strong>, entre otros temas que afectan principalmente a los grupos m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n

Tambien busca la unificaci\u00f3n de las luchas sociales para fortalecer el trabajo organizativo y generar estrategias conjuntas.<\/p>\n
