Amnist\u00eda Internacional<\/strong> hizo un llamado al gobierno de M\u00e9xico a respetar las manifestaciones,<\/strong> ante la noticia de que la Secretar\u00eda de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena)<\/strong> equipamiento antimotines para la Guardia Nacional<\/strong> que podr\u00edan ser utilizados en protestas.<\/p>\n

La organizaci\u00f3n advirti\u00f3 que esto podr\u00eda provocar respuestas violentas contra las personas manifestantes y justificar violaciones de derechos humanos<\/strong>. Por lo tanto, hizo un llamado al gobierno a \u201crespetar, no estigmatizar y reconocer la legitimidad de las manifestaciones\u201d.<\/p>\n

El pasado 22 de enero, el medio El Universal<\/em> inform\u00f3 que la Sedena adquiri\u00f3 726 millones de pesos<\/strong> de equipo de protecci\u00f3n corporal para la citada corporaci\u00f3n, que deber\u00e1 usar durante su intervenci\u00f3n en protestas y motines.
