Ayer la Comisi\u00f3n de Justicia (presidida por la senadora Olga S\u00e1nchez Cordero) y Estudios Legislativos Segunda (presidida por el senador Rafael Espino) comenzaron el debate para analizar, dictaminar y aprobar la minuta en materia de Guardia Nacional.<\/p>\n

Las comisiones cerraron la posibilidad de discutir las reformas en un parlamento abierto y con deliberaci\u00f3n amplia. De aprobarse, la iniciativa sin cambios, el Senado pasar\u00eda por encima del art\u00edculo 21 constitucional, que marca el car\u00e1cter civil de la Guardia Nacional. Incluso el Secretario de Gobernaci\u00f3n, Ad\u00e1n Augusto L\u00f3pez, acudi\u00f3 a la C\u00e1mara Alta e hizo un llamado a votar a favor de la minuta.<\/p>\n

Organizaciones como el Centro Prodh<\/strong>, exigimos al Senado a no convalidar las reformas y no profundizar la militarizaci\u00f3n de la seguridad p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n
