Belinda<\/strong> fue detenida el 15 de julio de 2007<\/strong> en\u00a0 Torre\u00f3n, Coahuila, por elementos de la PFP,<\/strong> quienes por m\u00e1s de 40 horas<\/strong> la torturaron f\u00edsica, sexual y psicol\u00f3gicamente. Tres meses despu\u00e9s fue presentada ante los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n como integrante del c\u00e1rtel del Golfo.<\/p>\n

Estuvo presa en el Penal de m\u00e1xima seguridad no. 4<\/strong> en Tepic, Nayarit enfrentando injustas acusaciones por delincuencia organizada, delitos contra la salud y secuestro, despu\u00e9s de siete a\u00f1os en detenci\u00f3n y sin que se le hubiera dictado sentencia, Belinda<\/strong> obtuvo su libertad el 23 de octubre de 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En junio de 2014<\/strong> se uni\u00f3 a la campa\u00f1a \u201cRompiendo el silencio. Todas juntas contra la tortura sexual\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>
