For several years, there is interest by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to build a hydroelectric dam in the community of Paso de la Reina and the municipalities located near the coast of Oaxaca. However, to date there is little official information about the project.
In this documentary, which is dedicated to the men and women of the Peoples Union Council in Defense of the Rio Verde (COPUDEVER) struggling to defend their land and territory, the results of an investigation about the hydroelectric project and its environmental and social impact on the local communities are presented.
